How does coaching work? |
| |
Professional life coaching can be done in my office or on the
phone, so you can do it from anywhere in the world!
We'll begin by identifying what area of your life you want
to work on. Once you create your ideal goal, we'll develop a plan of action for you
to reach it.
With a coach you can set better goals, create
momentum, stay focused, let go of whatever has been holding you back. You'll have
more confidence and the support you need to make the changes you want.
Each week we'll identify what you want to work on
and exercises to keep you focused. All of it is designed to lead you toward
accomplishing your goal. Call me for more information on how coaching will fit into and
benefit your life. |

How could coaching work for
me? |
| |
A person hires a
coach because they want more out of life. You are making a commitment by getting a
professional coach, so you are better focused on your goals, take them more seriously, and
benefit from the energy created by the two of you working together toward the same
goal. You develop new skills and have the confidence to take smarter chances.
An Olympic champion may be a natural athlete, but it is a
coach who shows him or her how to use those natural talents to achieve a dream. A
professional life coach can do the same for your personal or career goals.

| |
Anyone can be a cheerleader. A trained professional
life coach who also is a licensed marriage and family therapist gives you the benefit of a
mentor who is trained to provide the coaching support you need combined with the knowledge
and background to recognize and help you deal with other issues that may be causing you to
stumble. |

How can coaching help me in a relationship? |
| |
Relationship coaching is for those who are in a relationship
that needs some improvement and for singles who haven't been able to find the relationship
they want. Relationship coaching is about
goal-setting, action and achievement. As your coach, I will help you identify what
you truly want in a relationship, recognize the roadblocks that are preventing you from
fully enjoying a relationship, and work with you to eliminate whatever obstacles are
causing you difficulty. |

Does coaching work for
both personal and business goals? |
| |
It certainly does. Many people who have had success
with coaching in one area of their life continue using a coach to improve another area.
And a coach can help you identify which area of your life really is the priority
for you. In fact, a coach is trained to help
you achieve the delicate balance between your personal and business life that often is so
elusive. |

Why is coaching becoming so
popular? |
| |
People are discovering that coaching is the key that unlocks
the door to their dreams. Some are tired of doing what they "should" do.
They want to take control of where they are going and how they are spending their
time. Others are frustrated with repeating behaviors that always yield the same
unsatisfactory results. Some are just not very happy with the way their lives are
going. A trained coach who also is a licensed
family and marriage therapist has a tremendous number of tools at your disposal to achieve
your goals. |

Can coaching work for businesses? |
| |
IBM and AT&T think so. They are using coaches!
A coach can motivate your sales force, improve
communication, increase productivity, get a project moving, energize your employees to
meet a common goal. Large, medium and small businesses are discovering
that having a coach as a catalyst provides results where they want them.

Can I hire a coach for just
one project? |
| |
You certainly can. Some clients want a coach to help
them with a specific project or goal. Often, though, they have such success that
they continue to put coaching to work in other areas of their life.
All the coach asks of you is your commitment to accepting
coaching and your willingness to try new approaches to achieve what you want.
